Egypt Tour Packages 2026/2027: Cairo, the Nile and the Red Sea

From $360 per person for the four-day Christmas Nile cruise and $480 for four days in Cairo, up to $2,100 for twelve days across Cairo, a Nile cruise and the Red Sea. A week in Cairo and Hurghada starts at $1,255. Every figure is per person and includes the domestic flights.

Five-star hotels, the domestic flights between cities, private air-conditioned transport, an Egyptologist guide, the entrance fees to the sites in the itinerary, meet-and-assist at Cairo airport and the meals listed on each page. International flights, visas and tips are not included.

Four days covers Cairo and Giza properly. Six or seven adds the Red Sea. Eight or nine reaches Aswan, Abu Simbel and Luxor as well. Twelve does all of it without rushing, with three nights on a Nile cruise in the middle rather than another hotel.

The 12-day tour includes three nights on a five-star cruise between Aswan and Luxor, and the Christmas and eclipse packages are cruises in themselves. The 8-day tour deliberately does not: it keeps you in hotels and moves you by first-class train between Aswan and Luxor.

The guide, the car and the driver cost the same whether two or ten travel, so the share each person pays falls as the group grows. On the 4-day Cairo package that is $480 each in a group of nine to sixteen, $640 for a couple and $1,110 for one person alone.

October to April, when Upper Egypt is cool enough for long days at the temples. May to September is hot but noticeably cheaper, and the Red Sea packages work year-round because most of the day is in the water.

Private. You travel with your own Egyptologist and your own vehicle, and the group is whoever you booked with. The price per person is banded by group size, which is why the page shows a range rather than one figure.

Yes. The itineraries on this page are the ones we run most often, not a fixed catalogue: nights can be added in any city, the Red Sea days can be swapped for more time in Luxor, and a cruise can replace hotels or the other way round. Send us what you want.

It is a full day in the 8-day, 9-day and 12-day tours, flown to Aswan and then driven the three and a half hours south. The shorter packages do not reach it, but it can be added to any itinerary that already includes Aswan.

By air between Cairo and Aswan and between Hurghada and Cairo, by first-class train between Aswan and Luxor on the 8-day tour, by Nile cruise on the 12-day, and by private car for the four-hour crossing from Luxor to the Red Sea. All of it is booked and included.
