Day-by-Day Itinerary
Three nights in Cairo and two on the Red Sea, with the flight between them included.
Your representative meets you inside Cairo airport and takes care of the paperwork before you reach the arrivals hall, then drives you to your hotel. In the evening, a dinner cruise on the Nile with a belly dancer and a Tanoura show. First of three nights in Cairo.
Giza first, while the plateau is still cool: the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure, the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Then south to Saqqara for Djoser's Step Pyramid, and the Grand Egyptian Museum, where the Tutankhamun collection is shown together in one place.
The Egyptian Museum in Tahrir, then the Citadel of Salah El Din and the Mosque of Muhammad Ali looking back over the city. The afternoon is on foot: Al Muizz Street and the lanes of Khan El Khalili.
Breakfast, then the transfer to Cairo airport for the short flight to Hurghada. Check in at your five-star resort and the rest of the day is yours. First of two nights.
A boat trip into the Red Sea with snorkelling stops over the coral, and time to swim and sit on deck between them. Gear is on board and the crew are in the water with you.
Breakfast, the transfer to Hurghada airport and the flight back to Cairo, where you are met again for your onward departure.
