Hurghada is the Red Sea's busiest resort, with coral reefs and islands a short boat ride offshore and the desert right behind the town. It is also the nearest beach base to Luxor, a few hours' drive west across the mountains, and a short flight from Cairo.

Prices change a little over Christmas and New Year (20 December to 4 January) and from 5 January to 25 March 2027; each tour page lists all three seasons. For a private car, your own instructor and your choice of Mahmya, Giftun or the dolphin area, the private snorkeling trip. For a classic island day with other guests, the Giftun island trip, or Orange Bay for its white sand beach. All three include snorkeling gear, lunch on board and hotel pickup.
Yes. The discover-scuba day is for beginners: an instructor gives you a briefing on the boat and dives with you one to one, twice in the day. You fill in a medical form before you arrive so we can check it is suitable for you.
If you have only one day, yes: the private day trip covers the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut's temple, the Colossi of Memnon and Karnak, with lunch. It is a long day on the road, so if you can spare a night, the two-day Luxor trip is far more relaxed.
By plane is the shortest day and the most expensive. By private car or by bus costs much less but means a long drive each way. With a night in Cairo, the two-day trips let you see more at an easier pace.

The sightseeing trips to Luxor, Cairo and Aswan are private: your own guide and car, with no other travelers joining, which is why the price per person drops as your group grows. The private snorkeling trip has its own car and instructor; the Giftun and Orange Bay trips are shared cruises.
Hotel pickup, snorkeling equipment, lunch on board and soft drinks and water, as listed on each tour page. The private trip adds a private car and a professional instructor.
The sea trips run all year, and the water is warmest from May to October. For Luxor and Cairo, October to April is more comfortable, as the days inland are much cooler.
